For sale is my 2006 '56' Jaguar S-Type R with the supercharged 4.2 V8. One of the best cars I've owned, it's a really special thing. If you're looking at this, you probably already know about these cars. I've been offered another car by a friend at a price I can't say no to and can't keep both. The car has full service history (with stamps in the book and invoices) throughout its life and has been very well cared for mechanically. The rear suspension was fully refreshed in 2025, with genuine parts used. The engine and gearbox are very smooth with no issues. The car has Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres all round, with plenty of tread on all. The discs and pads all round have lots of life left in them. In the last 6 months, the car has had an oil and filters change. I also (at great expense!) had the DCCV heater valve and air conditioning condenser replaced at a Jaguar specialist. The DCCv failing is a very common issue so with this done (as well as the condenser), the air con is ice cold. The climate module (RCCM) was replaced at the same time. The supercharger and aux belts were also replaced at this time, as well as some coolant hoses. Externally the car is in good condition with some minor marks as to be expected of a 20 year old car. Crucially, the sills have been replaced with full length repair panels, so the new owner can enjoy without the worry of this usual issue. The previous owner had a Quicksilver stainless steel sports exhaust fitted (including sports cats), which sounds absolutely fantastic without being overly loud. Inside the interior is very tidy, no damage to the seats, with minor wear and tear on trims only. A Nextbase 522GW front and rear dash cam is also fitted. The headlining has one very minor sag in it, unlike most which have fully detached at this age. The car flew through its MOT in June and with nothing needing doing and is ready to enjoy by the next owner.
