Description
1969 MGB GT 4 Owners | 21,771 Miles Showing | Exceptional History
A genuinely special 1969 MGB GT, with just four owners from new, an impressive history file and decades of cherished ownership.
Originally finished in Royal Blue with a solid roof, this lovely BGT has evolved over the years into the striking Pillar Box Red example you see today, complete with a sunroof.
The mileage counter is showing 21,771 miles. The car is fitted with the 1,800cc engine and a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive.
One of the car's standout features is its exceptional history. It comes with approximately 30 years of MOT certificates and an impressive 37+ years of documented work history, providing a fascinating record of the car's life and maintenance.
The history begins with Brown & Cook, M.G. Specialists in Hertfordshire and continues through to Quest Brothers in St Ives, who have looked after the car during my ownership.
I purchased the MGB GT in July 2022 from a retired engineer who had lovingly cared for the car. Although I am not mechanically minded myself, I have always made sure the car has been properly looked after, entrusting its maintenance to Quest Brothers.
During my ownership, the BGT has been dry stored from October through to March, helping to protect and preserve this wonderful classic.
The MG has also become part of our family story it even played a big part in our recent wedding, making it a car with some very special memories attached to it.

Reason for Sale
After owning and enjoying the MGB GT since 2022, I am now looking to move into the world of camper vans and a different type of adventure.
As much as it will be sad to see the MG go, I feel the time is right for it to find its forever home with someone who will appreciate its history, character and charm as much as we have.
This is more than just a classic car it has been part of several owners' lives for over half a century, and during my ownership it has also become part of ours
