Description
BMW Z4 SDrive 23i, first registered January 2010.
It's a really good example of the car in deep sea blue metallic with the beige leather. No dents, scratches or warning lights. All four alloys are unkerbed with no pitting. No tears in the seats, just a small worn patch by the driver's right shoulder due to the seatbelt. The chap I bought it from a couple of years ago had an Aston Martin in the drive, so clearly it had been looked after recently. No issues came up in the checks I ran before purchase.
The mileage is now a genuine 63800 plus a bit of current use. The service history book has stamps at 14363 (Jan 2012), 21951 (Oct 2013), 37342 (Feb 2015), 40422 (Nov 2015), 48182 (Nov 2017), 51930 (Aug 2018), 53886 (Aug 2019), 54962 (Sept 2020), 59834 (Apr 2023). The MOT history mileages are consistent with these figures and there are some old invoices as backup. I have both original keys. It was running a bit rough at the start of the year - new spark plugs dealt with that.
Last year, the electric roof stopped working, a common issue of the motor having been water-damaged. Having advertised it before with no takers, I took the car to one of the country's leading experts with this issue, Zedshed in Warrington. Mike replaced the motor and microswitches and it works as it should do, with a guarantee for the work.
The stereo is original; there are no parking sensors (it's a fairly small car) or electric seats (one less thing to go wrong). The offside flank BMW badge is missing.
It drives really well, the six-speed manual gearbox is the one you want. It sits on 17 inch wheels, which I find a better choice as BMs can ride rather firmly. The six-cylinder engine is the marque's specialty, putting it ahead of the smaller engine versions.
No part-exchanges thanks and I will not respond to offers without inspection.
