2007 VW Golf GTI Mk5 3-Door Manual - Silver - Tartan Seats - Modified - 6 Months MOT For sale is my 2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk5 3-door manual, finished in silver with the iconic GTI tartan seats. The car currently has 127,511 miles, although this will increase slightly as it is still being driven. I have owned the car for almost 4 years. During my ownership, the engine has been reliable and I have had no problems with it. The clutch feels good and the car drives really well. Modifications - Cobra cat-back exhaust (road-legal), fitted by Cobra Sheffield during my ownership - Custom alloy wheels, fitted prior to my ownership. The centre caps are missing - Lowering springs, believed to be Eibach, fitted prior to my ownership. Approximately 5mm lower than standard Tyres - 4x Pirelli P Zero tyres Issues / things to be aware of I want to be completely upfront about the car's condition: - The Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB head unit is currently not working. I had it fitted shortly after purchasing the car, but it developed a known fault a couple of months ago, shortly after the warranty expired. It will need to be repaired or replaced. - There is cosmetic rust on the exterior, as shown in the photos, along with some scrapes and scratches consistent with the car's age. - 3 of the 4 brake calipers have been replaced during my ownership. They are currently 3 black and 1 red, so the calipers would benefit from being painted to match. - The driver's side door requires the key to be used in the lock to lock/unlock the door. - The alloy wheel centre caps are missing.
