Golf GTi mk1 1.8 5 speed. THE original and classic GTi. 3 owners in 43 years. Presents in immaculate and original condition. Had a documented respray in my ownership by a VW Classic specialist. All interior is complete and 100% original (I have fitted a digital Bluetooth retro radio but the original with tape deck will come with the car). The car is dry stored in a garage, only being used for local car shows where it always gets lots of love and attention, even on the way there and back! Starts on the button, and pulls like it should. Odometer has stopped working (I believe small gear has worked lose in unit) the speedo works as it should. It took me a long time and a lot of looking to find the right car, this was without doubt the best available at the time and is completes with an enormous history file and complete service history. Now registered as a classic car it is tax and MOT exempt. There's a large file documenting its history, see photos. Original service books and manuals are present as well as old MOT certificates and receipts, along with the original sales brochure from 1983. Nice touch if you want to take it to car shows.
