The cream interior is exceptionally well preserved for its age, including the seats, carpets, rear seats and boot. There is some age-related wear/discolouration to the driver's interior door handle. The 1.9 TDI 90bhp diesel engine starts and drives well and there are no known faults with the automatic gearbox. The bodywork presents well overall for its age. The main cosmetic issue is corrosion to the lower rear wheel arches on both sides, clearly shown in the photographs. This has been left as-is rather than cosmetically covered up. There are also minor age-related marks around the car. A very original, low-mileage Mk4 Golf with known history from new and a particularly well-preserved interior.
