The Passat is mechanically sound (very recently inspected by an VW Specialist) and drives like it too. It puts its power down onto the road cleanly and the suspension feels tight. It will easily get 60+ MPG on the motorway, potentially more depending on driving style. It's a Euro 6 Diesel, so is suitable to go into any LEZ or ULEZ zones. It's £20 to tax for a year. Fully HPI clear, not ever used as a taxi. The Passat has a lot of added features that most other VWs of this age will not have e.g., Auto Hold, heated mirrors, electric seats etc. Paperwork for all repairs completed etc. available. It has tyres that have done a maximum of 1000 miles and has had rear brake pads, discs and callipers changed not too long ago. The most recent service was around 2000 miles ago and cam belt / water pump was changed at around 88,000 miles, so there is still plenty of life left in it. The MOT is valid until March 2027 and recently passed with no advisories. As you will see on the MOT history, if you check it (I highly advise you do), it shows that the tyres kept coming back each year as worn on edge. This was due to a suspension issue that was fixed recently. Cosmetically, there are a couple of small areas of rust (they are not spreading) around the rear wheel arches (see photos) which is to be expected on a car around 10 years old. Apple CarPlay / Android Auto can be enabled on this car. I haven't had the opportunity to do it yet but you can get it coded for quite cheap or get an SD card and do it yourself with a video and instructions for even cheaper. Car has been fully valeted.
