Lovely BMW 118i in very good condition. Local car bought by me from a doctor and well maintained by both the local garage and myself (engineer) thereafter. Total of 3 POs. Car goes very well indeed, surprisingly quick in sport mode and yet economical on long journeys. Handling is just sublime. BMW build quality is evident throughout, usual i-drive, sat nav, entertainment and comms. Decent quality run-flat tyres fitted, cabin filter, air and spark plugs all changed out around 2K miles ago. Oil and filter, discs and pads, new caliper at 56K. It came with service history to @40K from the PO, but sadly I cannot now find it. I'll try racking my brain.... In my ownership the car has had an easy life. Commuting mainly. It has been washed and polished regularly and a coat of carnuba wax applied in May. Paintwork and interior are both very good. Being an engineer I am mechanically sympathetic, so the car has been well cared for. I have been proud to own it, and it has never let me down. Personally I think the 3 door looks much more pleasing and the lovely gloss black alloys set it off well. Quality hatchback, BMW build-quality and reliability, with a little joie de vivre thrown in.
