The car has covered 100,132 miles and presents very well for its age. It has been enjoyed and maintained as intended and remains a very usable modern classic, equally suited to weekend drives, summer touring or regular use. The electric convertible roof makes it a great car for sunny days, while the front and rear luggage compartments make the Boxster surprisingly practical for longer trips. These early 987 Boxsters are becoming increasingly attractive as an affordable way into Porsche ownership, with values of good, well-maintained cars remaining strong. Whilst the car has been completely reliable over the years I've owned it, recently I have worked on a few bits and pieces to get it all up together, namely : replacement rear light cluster, wing mirror control unit, new rear wheel arch stone chip guards. The paintwork is excellent but there are still a couple of minor areas that could do with a little attention to bring it back to perfect condition.
