The car presents very well for its age, although as a 23-year-old car that has been driven and enjoyed, it naturally has some age-related marks - nothing worth highlighting. I would much rather describe it honestly than present it as a concours example. The SL55 is a very special car: hand-built AMG supercharged V8, folding metal roof, huge performance and genuine everyday usability.
