Honda Civic 2.2 CDTi SE (2007) - Long MOT & Highly Reliable Engine Selling our reliable Honda Civic 2.2L diesel, owned by my wife for the last 13 years (bought October 2013). With 4 total keepers from new, it has been driven less than 6,500 miles per year during our ownership and currently has 155,500 miles on the clock. We have decided to sell as we have three cars for two drivers. If we needed a third vehicle, we would keep it. It offers good fuel economy, comfortably achieving over 50mpg. Key Details: MOT: Just done and valid until August 2027. Recent work completed includes new rear brake pads and an anti-roll bar/bush. Service History: Serviced annually (only missed this August due to deciding to sell). Interior: Black leather seats in good condition for the car's age. Tyres: Good on the rear, okay on the front. Honest Condition Notes: As a 19-year-old car, it has age-related wear, which is reflected in the price: Cosmetics: Minor scuffs and small dents on the bodywork (please see photos). Mechanical: The engine runs perfectly, uses no oil nor leaks, and is incredibly robust. Front suspension: There is a persistent front-left nearside knocking noise; our garage has replaced several parts over the years but hasn't pinpointed it. It does not affect how it drives and has never caused an MOT failure. Clutch: Occasionally the clutch does cause get sticky in 1st gear, but disengaging from first when coming to a stop prevents this, otherwise drives fine Dashboard: The Engine Management Light is on, it has been lit for years, does not affect how the car drives, and has never been an issue for the MOT. Electrics & Body: The passenger window doesn't open, the motor and mechanism work, so I'm guessing the glass has detached from the mechanism. There is also a small cabin leak that allows moisture in on very wet days. Keys: One key
