The RA (Rallye Applicant) was Subaru's lightweight, performance-focused variant designed for rally teams and enthusiasts. It came stripped of luxuries to reduce weight and increase performance: - Manual windows, no ABS, no sound-deadening - Thinner glass and lighter body panels - No air-conditioning or stereo(dealer-fit optional in some cases) - Close-ratio 5-speed gearbox with reinforced internals and short final drive - Optional Driver-Controlled Centre Differential (DCCD) - Rally roof vent in place of a sunroof It is completely standard and unmodified example, speedo is still in kilometers. The paintwork does have some laquer peel in a few areas, some marks and the roof has a few small spots of surface rust as you can see in the photos.
