Some modified Focus RSs make you nervous before you have even turned the key. This one does the opposite. It has been developed rather than simply modified. H&R lowering springs, spacers and uprated anti-roll bars give it the stance and sharper chassis it always deserved, while the performance side has been done with quality hardware: Revo carbon intake, Spec R intercooler with Mountune hoses, Mountune recirc valve from the M375 package, custom Sabre tune, full Milltek exhaust and a Milltek high-flow sports cat fitted in 2026. The result is a quoted 420bhp and 600Nm, with drive-mode switchable mapping. Normal runs the lower-boost map, while Sport unlocks the high-boost setup, so it is easy to live with day to day but properly alive when you want the full RS experience. Crucially, the supporting hardware has not been ignored. It has uprated discs, EBC Yellowstuff pads, Airtec Motorsport header tank, Ghost immobiliser and a Spec R oil cooler fitted, currently not connected. In 2026 it also received a genuine Ford thermostat assembly and genuine Ford water-pump kit, sensible maintenance I want to see on a tuned car. What makes this one stand out is how cohesive it all feels. Intake, intercooling, exhaust, calibration, chassis, braking, cooling and security have all been considered, yet it still looks unmistakably Focus RS, not something modified beyond recognition. Backed by full Ford main dealer and specialist history and clearly owned by someone who has loved it, this is a car where the expensive bits have already been bought and the hard work done. If you want an untouched museum piece, this is not it.
