Description
Here is my workhorse of a 330i that has served me well for the last 9 years. She has been reliable and fun to drive but now after adding 120k miles to the clock it is time to part ways.
I have a near full service history and receipts for and it has been kept in good working order. Yes, the mileage is over 200,000 that is not a typo. She is pretty tidy inside and out considering her age and mileage. There are however, some marks left by my neighbours, thanks to I street parking. I have tried to show this in the pictures.
The car is 21 years old and has over 200k but she still pulls well and strong. Sounds alright too. On my mostly motorway and B Road commute she gets around 30-31mpg.
Good bits
- New differential
- New lambda sensors
- Near full service history
- Rear parking sensors (that unlike my neighbours actually work)
- 6 sp manual (not common)
- Great for a track day
Bad bits
- The bumpers are showing signs of wear and tear
- Front camber could be adjusted. (just within BMW limits)
- slight rattle when cold from underside. Sounds like an exhaust jangle but I haven't been able to find it exactly. Been like that for ages and 1000s of miles and only hear it when the window is open at idle.
- AC stopped working last month. The system is still gassed and holds pressure. The pulley clutch failed so it is now bypassed with a shorter belt. Should be a simple fix.
- Some rust just starting to appear on the front right wheel arch. I have a replacement wing.
Any question please let me know.
