Description

2003 BMW 330d Sport Touring (204hp) - 6-Speed Manual Converted - High Spec Enthusiast-owned BMW E46 330d Sport Touring, owned by me since around 2013 and presented in good condition for its age and mileage. Originally automatic, the car was professionally converted to a 6-speed manual around 2020, making it a much more engaging car to drive while retaining the excellent long-distance ability of the 330d Touring. SPECIFICATION: 3.0 diesel 204hp 6-speed manual conversion M Sport package Individual Nappa leather interior Electric memory seats Heated front seats HiFi speaker system Xenon headlights Professional Navigation Factory TV function Individual Sunshade Glazing MAINTENANCE: The car has been regularly maintained during my ownership, including oil servicing using Motul 8100. Recent/major work includes: Water pump replaced Thermostats replaced Radiator replaced Full front and rear brakes, including handbrake shoes, using genuine BMW parts Front lower control arm rear bushes upgraded to increased-caster type Eibach springs fitted Suspension dampers/bushes previously refreshed MILEAGE: There is a documented mileage discrepancy caused by a replacement instrument cluster. The car recorded 171,606 miles at its October 2012 MOT. The original cluster was later replaced around 2013/14 and the replacement displayed a lower mileage. Approximately 16,000 miles have been covered since the cluster replacement, giving an estimated true mileage of around 187,000 miles. The car has also spent several periods off the road/in storage, explaining the low mileage increases between some MOTs. CONDITION: Engine and gearbox are strong and the car drives very well. It has also completed European trips during my ownership. Being a 2003 E46, there are age-related paint marks and some typical bubbling. The arches are generally solid, although some bubbling has recently appeared around the lower rear arch area behind the door. Air conditioning is currently not working. The A/C belt snapped when the car returned to the road in 2022 and has not been repaired since, possibly due to the tensioner or compressor. Overall, a well-specced and increasingly uncommon 330d Sport Touring with the desirable 204hp engine and 6-speed manual conversion. Genuine enquiries and viewings welcome.
