2020 Volkswagen Golf GTE 1.4 TSI Plug-in Hybrid DSG I'm selling this Volkswagen Golf GTE on behalf of my sister, who has owned it for around a year and a half. She has absolutely loved the car and the only reason she has decided to sell it is because she now needs something bigger. Otherwise, she would happily keep it. It has been a brilliant, reliable and extremely economical car for her and has been used mainly as a comfortable everyday car. One of the biggest advantages of the GTE is the plug-in hybrid system. For shorter and everyday journeys you have the benefit of electric driving, helping to considerably reduce the amount of petrol you use when the car is charged regularly. For longer journeys, you still have the convenience of the petrol engine, so you get the flexibility of both. It really does give you the best of both worlds - excellent economy for everyday driving, with plenty of power available when needed. The DSG automatic gearbox is lovely and smooth, and the car genuinely drives immaculately. The hybrid system makes it particularly quiet and refined around town, while it is also extremely comfortable on longer journeys. My sister has looked after the car properly throughout her ownership. It has been serviced regularly and on time using good-quality parts and oils, and has always been maintained properly. The car is in very good condition inside and out and has clearly been cared for. There are a few small stone chips and the usual minor age-related marks, but overall it presents extremely well, as you can see from the pictures.
