This Porsche 928 S2 pairs a 310-horsepower 4.7L V8 (4-speed auto) with 50/50 weight distribution. This highly collectible, original UK-market example was registered in April 1986. Note - this is NOT the later 1986 version dubbed the 1986.5 or S3. Exterior: Finished in Moss Green Metallica, the car is in good overall condition. Factory electric sunroof. Just age-related blemishes here and there. The driver door shows some paint bubbling paint, the result of "galvanic corrosion" (doors are aluminium). Interior: Good condition with Black Pinstripe cloth inserts with premium black leather bolstered seats (some age-related tearing on the driver side). Odometer: An incredibly usable car, 91,000 original miles. Bought in July 2023, this car has been in my possession (my pride and joy) for 3 solid years. These cars are notorious for deferred maintenance, and mine was no different in that sense with years with hardly any mileage. I have spent considerable amount of time and money to bring the car mechanically up top scratch. The odometer read about 78000 miles on purchase and now reads 91000 miles. So, I have done about 13000 miles driving around in the local area, at least a couple of times each week, consistently. The car had four new TOYO tyres upon purchase so plenty life left in them. I am pleased to say that the car is mechanically sound, dry, and free of significant rust. Always been garaged. Electronically, there are still a few minor things that may require attention but that is for the next owner to sort out. For instance, the remote control for locking / unlocking, works in locking mode but not unlocking mode. It doesn't bother me; I am happy to open the car with the key (two sets of keys available). This may well have something to do with one of the vacuum lines. The cruise control works intermittently. Again, this could be to do with the (same) vacuum line. The radio system and door and rear speakers could do with a complete modern do-over. A nice age-appropriate Blaupunkt radio and new speakers and speaker cables has been out of my budget all this time. The driver door window closes intermittently. Other than that, all else works as it should do including the electric seats, sunroof, rear hatch. The aircon works OK (converted to R134A, new condenser radiator grill, new second hand aircon fan) but probably could do with another top up. These are the main repairs that were carried since I bought the car: New steering rack (Design911) New starter mo
