The car is no longer in regular use as we've replaced it with another vehicle, so the mileage should remain around this figure. This is an honest description of an old E60 that has been used as a family car. It is cosmetically scruffy and has several known faults, hence the price. GOOD POINTS: 106,729 miles / 3 owners 2.2 M54 straight-six 6-speed manual MOT until May 2027 Completely standard/unmodified No obvious rust Front & rear parking sensors both work All 4 brake discs and pads replaced approx. 6 months ago Major front suspension refresh approx. 6 months ago - struts, arms, top mounts etc. Springs retained 4 tyres approx. 5 months old Brakes feel excellent Engine starts and runs Gearbox itself works correctly KNOWN MECHANICAL ISSUES: Clutch slips at lower RPM Dual-mass flywheel knocks/rattles when switching engine off - clutch/DMF likely need attention Engine uses oil, although there is no excessive smoke or obvious major oil leak Occasional ignition coil/misfire issue every few months Rear suspension feels tired, although there aren't many loud knocks One wheel/tyre appears to lose air; tyre is relatively new and alloy may be the cause OTHER AGE-RELATED ISSUES: Driver's side rear door handle feels loose but works normally Remote locking only works from close range and works best when pointed towards rear window Rear glass rubber seal is very perished Centre screen has a line of dead pixels BODYWORK/INTERIOR: Bodywork is scruffy: faded/discoloured bonnet, misaligned and scratched bumpers, large scratch through to primer on boot lid and slightly foggy headlights.
