Description
I'm sadly selling this as I'm moving abroad!
I picked this up from a motorbike racer about 5 years ago. Being a capable mechanic he kindly replaced the spark plugs before selling it to me with around 100k miles on it. Since then it's been my near indestructible wingman on many adventures.
I've had to do some work of course. The Y pipe and back box have been replaced two years ago. I replaced the alternator last year.
I've also upgraded the centre console. Those familiar with these know that's not a quick and cheap job, the fittings that allow you to install a new car radio have to be ordered from Japan and you need to replace the climate control while you're at it. Worth it if you like playing music from your phone though.
Got a few dents here and there, but overall looks really good! I'm really pleased with the condition I've managed to get it into during my tenure and I hope I can sell it to someone who's keen to take that forward. There's a reason these cars inspire so much devotion in their owners.
Very comfortable on long motorway drives and willing to go anywhere you ask him to (he's called Hector if you ask me). This model is by a slight margin the fastest naturally aspirated 2.x variant (if you exclude the diesel which is breaks at around 100k).
