2016 Mercedes-Benz E220 SE BlueTEC Auto - CAT S - Full History - MOT July 2027 I have owned this Mercedes for pretty much 6 years, so this is a genuine long-term private sale. My wife has also been driving it for nearly a year. We are only selling because of changes to our jobs, and we are now looking to move to a family electric car. The car has covered 185,242 miles. The mileage is high because I used it as a taxi for around 5 years, mainly doing regular driving and longer journeys. Despite the mileage, it has been very well looked after and drives superbly. I have always maintained it properly. I purchased servicing parts from Mercedes-Benz and used a trusted local garage to carry out the servicing and mechanical work. The timing belt and water pump have been changed, along with a new battery. The discs and pads were also replaced recently, and the car has a recent MOT valid until 30/07/2027. Please note the car is recorded as Category S. While it was being used as a taxi, another vehicle ran into the passenger-side door. Due to the mileage, the insurance company decided to write the car off. I repaired it by purchasing and fitting a replacement door. I did not carry out any additional paintwork. There is some cosmetic wear, including a scratch/paint damage on the front bumper from the impact, but no dent. The alloy wheels also have some age-related wear. If you are particular about cosmetics, you may wish to repaint the bumper, but mechanically the car has continued to serve us very well.
