Finished in Black Sapphire Metallic with full Black Merino leather and now showing 64,962 miles, this is a car I know personally, with genuine provenance and the sort of ownership history that gives real confidence. The F82 M4 still feels special for all the right reasons: rear-wheel drive, carbon-fibre roof, low driving position, wide arches and the superb S55 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six up front. Paired with the M Twin Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic, it is easy to live with when you want it to be, but properly sharp and urgent when the road opens up. Most importantly, the history is strong. The all-important BMW running-in service was completed at 1,404 miles, followed by BMW main dealer and specialist maintenance. Recorded work includes oil services, microfilters, brake fluid, vehicle checks, air filters, spark plugs and front discs and pads, with a further service completed by Grants BMW at 57,220 miles in November 2025. At 64,962 miles it still presents and drives exactly how a properly kept M4 should. Black Sapphire has superb depth, the carbon roof and 437M wheels give it the right stance, and the whole car feels tight, sorted and cared for. It is one of those M4s where the history, specification and driving feel all tell the same story. There are cheaper M4s and lower-mileage M4s.
