Roof not working. My regular mechanic has already replaced the Hall sensor, and now diagoses that the the roof control module is at fault. He says that a specialist auto electrician may possibly be able to repair it without replacing the module, but equally may not be able to do so; so an unknown quantity there. Some age-related wear and blemishes; see photos. Cam belt, water pump, auxiliary drive belt, all replaced July 2025. Car has been assiduously maintained and serviced during my ownership, but there are gaps in the service record before my ownership. Most recent full service was July this year. Two keys, but only one of them has the associated mechanical blade. Runs well, and sweetly, and performs as it should. Has just done nearly 2000 miles of faultless holiday motoring during August. Loaded with the usual Volvo comprehensive safety and comfort features. Cruise control. Luxurious leather seating. Radio and autochanger CD-player. In-car computer. Electric windows, and powered door mirror adjustment. Auto-dimming interior mirror. Rain sensor on wipers. Etc., etc. Any inspection welcome. Test drive welcome provided you have your own insurance in place; my insurer, like most, will not provide cover for "any driver". Priced for quick sale, and discounted because of roof problem and short MOT. Please be aware that I shall be away from approx 20 - 26 September, and unavailable during that week. Definitely back home, and available, from midday Sunday 27th (but advert disappears 25th).
