Classic example of a well kept, low mileage, MkII Rav4. These cars were made in Japan and built to last I have owned/loved this car since 2011. 3 Previous owners (2 were from same family). Service history a bit patchy, but last oil change service was in Aug26. Auto with optional overdrive, 4 wheel drive so happy off road, tootling along country lanes, or cruising on the motorway. MOT until 1st March 2027. All the buttons work (It's a Toyota !) Very reliable. 2 litre petrol engine with auto gearbox. Alarm system. Front and rear seats still firm and comfortable. Loads of room in the back with rear seats out, or folded down. First registered 22 March 2004 with only 96K mileage. Yes, it done a few miles but it's a Toyota auto and will run forever. No auto start. No lane assist. No endless warning bleeps as per new cars - what a relief ! Just enjoy driving it your way like we all used to. Reason for sale - need larger version (5dr Rav4 for Grandchildren) Engine Management Light is on. Once reset it stays off for a few days/weeks, then comes back on. There is no influence on driveability or engine performance. EML came on a few weeks after we bought it in 2011. A Toyota Master Mechanic checked the code and said it was "P0420". He advised this was a common Toyota issue caused by over-sensitive sensors. He advise us not to replace the catalytic convertor, as the sensor problem may still cause the EML to come on, even with a new cat. This car has passed the emissions test on every annual MOT since 2005, so the catalytic convertor is obviously not faulty. Also minor damage to the rear offside wheel arch (see photo) - easy repair with wheel arch trim from a breakers and new clips - I just don't have the time to fix it. Priced accordingly.
