Only selling as I've now bought another vehicle. Mechanically it has served me extremely well and is still in regular use. These 2.0 SDI engines are simple, economical diesels and this has been a brilliant everyday car. Good points: Long MOT until June 2027 Fantastic fuel economy Two sets of central-locking keys Parcel shelf included Good windscreen with no chips or cracks Owned by me since 2018 Starts, runs and drives well For complete transparency, the latest MOT has advisories for three tyres being worn close to the legal limit/on the edge and corrosion to the rear subframe, although it is specifically recorded as not seriously weakened. I am selling the car with these advisories still present and have priced it accordingly. As you'd expect from an 18-year-old car, there are some age-related marks and scratches. There is also a dent on the passenger-side wheel arch, which was already there when I bought the car in 2018. It's not being advertised as a perfect car, but as an honest, economical older Golf that has served me extremely well for the last eight years. £1,295 Reasonable offers welcome.
