VW Polo 1.2l 2012 58k miles - NON-RUNNER - MOT NOV 2026 Selling my VW Polo, which unfortunately is now a non-runner and requires repair or is suitable for spares. The car has been very dependable and has covered relatively low mileage. It turns over normally but will not start, cutting out when attempting to start. The starter motor is working correctly. A recent diagnostic scan returned the following fault codes: P0171 - System too Lean P0341 - Camshaft Position Sensor A new camshaft sensor was fitted in April 2026, along with diagnostics, the starting issue was resolved for a number of months until recurring last week (September). I haven't investigated the fault further, so the exact cause is unknown. MOT until November 2026 and a strong MOT history. Full service history up to approximately 20,000 miles. Some rust at the bottom of both front doors and minor cosmetic damage. Interior reasonable condition given cars age. Recent work includes: April 2026 - Diagnostics and new camshaft position sensor November 2025 - New front exhaust and gaskets following MOT failure June 2025 - Rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders The car is being sold simply as I no longer have the time/desire to investigate and repair it. PLEASE NOTE: The car does not currently start and cannot be driven away. Buyer must arrange collection/recovery. Video of the engine turning over/attempting to start available on request.
