This is the Audi A3 Etron, a full hybrid that can run purely on battery power. Once the battery is depleted, the petrol engine cuts in smoothly and automatically. The electric only range is around 22 miles, though this typically reduces in winter something common to all electric and hybrid vehicles. For short journeys, it's ideal if you prefer to drive on battery power alone. The Etron is well equipped, and I've captured many of its features using screenshots from the MyAudi app, which allows you to activate the air conditioning or heating remotely from home, provided the car is within range. This model also includes adaptive cruise control, which is not commonly found on the A3 Etron and is a real game changer on motorways. It can manage speeds down to around 5 mph and will automatically resume when the road ahead clears. Just completed the 40, 000 gearbox oil service
