A superb example of the Land Rover Freelander 2, fitted with the highly desirable 2.2 litre SD4 engine and presented in an incredibly high specification. I'll be completely honest, the Freelander 2 has never really been a vehicle that I've actively looked out for. However, this one genuinely stood out to me. It simply seems to have that little bit extra in every department. It's an exceptionally well-kept example that has really impressed me. This is a 2013 example which has covered 158,167 miles. While that may sound high, I really wouldn't let it put you off. It drives exactly as it should and is a perfect example of why condition and maintenance matter far more than the number on the clock. The bodywork is excellent and presents incredibly well, while the underside is superb with absolutely no corrosion whatsoever. You genuinely wouldn't believe it had covered this mileage. Being a high-specification model, it comes with heated leather electric seats, the excellent Meridian sound system, touchscreen infotainment, heated front windscreen, hill descent control, multiple terrain-response driving modes for snow and off-road conditions, and a tow bar already fitted. It also sits on smart grey alloy wheels with a good set of tyres. It comes with the original book pack, along with receipts. It has also recently had a new steering rack, and the timing belt was replaced in 2021, showing it has been properly looked after. With permanent four-wheel drive and Land Rover capability, it's an ideal vehicle to head into the upcoming winter with confidence, whether you're dealing with icy roads, snow, or simply want the reassurance that a capable 4x4 provides. The 2.2-litre SD4 is, in my opinion, the engine to have, offering an excellent balance of performance, comfort, and reliability. If you're looking for one of these, I would encourage you to buy on condition rather than mileage alone.
