The car is in excellent condition for its age and has clearly been well cared for throughout its life. It has been garaged during my ownership, and the bodywork presents extremely well with no rust that I'm aware of. The interior is equally clean, with the AMG leather seats in very good condition. The 5.4-litre supercharged V8 runs beautifully and delivers exactly the performance you'd expect from an SL55. The electric folding hardtop is fully operational, making it a fantastic car to use all year round. It has a great specification including Bose sound system, heated and electrically adjustable AMG leather seats, climate control, COMAND, parking sensors and genuine AMG alloy wheels. Importantly, both the ABC suspension and SBC braking systems have been fully serviced within the last 8,000 miles. The car also comes with a comprehensive booklet/folder of receipts and servicing documentation, providing a good record of the maintenance carried out over the years. I've kept the car as original as possible and it hasn't been modified or messed around with. As you'd expect from a car of this age there are a few minor age-related marks on close inspection, but overall it presents exceptionally well.
