I'm sadly selling my lovely Astra as I'm no longer able to repair it and don't want to see it go to the scrapyard. The car was running absolutely perfectly before the issue occurred. It was left unused for around 5 days, and when I went to start it, it wouldn't start. A mechanic diagnosed a failed ECU and damaged wiring harness. I'm not sure exactly what caused the fault. The engine was running perfectly before this happened, and the timing belt was replaced around 15,000 miles ago. The tyres are also almost new. I'm selling the car as a spares/repair project and I'm open to all reasonable offers. It could be a great opportunity for someone who can repair it, use the parts, or bring it back on the road.
