Description
2011 Audi A6 (C6) Avant. 2.0 TDI SE automatic (Multitronic). Registered January 2011 by lease company and bought under warranty by current owner in 2013. Very good condition overall as it was garaged for most of it's life. The car has a very extensive service history with all documentation available, including handbooks, sale documents and service booklet (see images). Serviced for the first 5-6 years at Franchised Audi dealers and thereafter by specialist VW Audi Tech (Chelmsford, Essex) with only genuine Audi parts used. SE version with leather interior and privacy glass behind B pillar. Includes SAT Nav and 6 disc autochanger (still works perfectly). The interior is superb and includes full set of Audi rubber mats and boot liner. Original tools, accessories and spare wheel. Shod with AO fit Continental summer tyres with plenty of grip and have always run true. The alloys were refurbished in 2020 and are still very good. The car was kept up to with all fluid changes including, Multitronic gearbox every 40,0000 miles and brake fluid every 2 years. Timing belt and water-pump changed per Audi schedule. Engine and gearbox very quiet and smooth. Full consumption is to spec and minimal oil consumption. One minor MoT failure since 2014 which was due to a small pebble getting stuck in the rear seatbelt buckle. Has very large fuel tank and eats motorway miles (driven extensively across Europe). The car has been on SORN since June (replaced with A4 Avant) and requires a full service. It's not perfect as it's 15 years old. It has it's fair share of car park scuffs (a big car), plus a bicycle dropped on it in the garage (see images) but the pearlescent black still looks great. Other points to note: one of the parking side light bulbs is loose and throws up dashboard warning light intermittently (the bulbs are pain to change). The driver cigarette lighter fuse has blown and the aircon is weak. Extensive investigations (receipted) indicate a weak AC pump (common in cars over 100K miles) but decided to live with it. Tailgate gas struts are weak but are easily replaced at minimal cost. There have been some advisories on suspension rubbers and seals over the years but no related MoT failures.
