Description
2017 Mini Cooper SD Clubman 2.0 Diesel Automatic
We sold this car a couple of months ago and a few weeks later the customer reported that the car was a bit smokey, in limp mode and eml had come on and the customer wanted to return the car due to this so we accepted the return
Since then, the car has sat at a mechanics yard waiting to be fixed so we can resell and when we went to start today it would not start. It turns over but doesn't start. It does say something about the battery being discharged but we had jump leads on and couldn't get it started. It turns over but doesn't fire up.
It is a lovely car as well as you can see from the pictures and was driving great before all this. The automatic gearbox was extremely smooth and engine was smooth and responsive. Has mot until 04 June 2027, 6 idrive services with the last one being done by a German car specialist in June 2026 and only 2 previous owners (the last one being our customer who returned the car)
We are not mechanics and do not have the time to fix the car further so are cutting our losses. We previously retailed the car for many thousands more, with the current autotrader retail value at the time of writing this advert being 5506 - saving over 4000 pounds
Spares or repairs, will need trailered / recovered away
Please do not ask us loads of mechanic questions - all we have been told is that it was smokey and starting and waiting to be repaired but now won't start and when we went to see for ourselves today even with a jump pack it would not fire up but does turn over and try to start
