Description
Selling my wife's Toyota Aygo as we recently had the opportunity to buy a BMW. We had no plans to sell the Aygo and over the last 6-12 months I spent quite a bit of money getting it ready for my wife to use for the next few years.
During this time it has had a new clutch, full service, four new tyres, and new brake discs and pads. All of this work was done because we intended to keep the car, not to prepare it for sale.
I bought the car in 2020 with around 5,000 miles on the clock. Since then, my wife has mainly used it for the school run, taking the children to and from school, averaging only around 3,000 miles per year during our ownership.
The car has been regularly serviced while we have owned it and I can provide details of the most recent service. I never received a service book with the car when I bought it.
Mechanically, it has been a very reliable little car. With the clutch, tyres, brakes and servicing already taken care of, we expected to keep using it for the next few years.
I bought the car in the cosmetic condition you see today. It does have some paint chips, scratches and general age-related marks, all of which can be seen in the photos. I prefer to be completely upfront about the condition rather than describe it as something it isn't.
The only reason for sale is that we bought another car and simply no longer need the Toyota.
