SPARES/ REPAIRS 2006 Volkswagen Golf 1.6 FSI, currently showing 133,000 miles. Selling as spares/repairs and without a valid MOT. The car will be SORN when sold and will therefore need to be trailered/transported away. I have recently fixed my main car, which will now be my daily driver, so I don't want to put any further money into the Golf. I believe it has had 4 owners from new. Maintenance: * Clutch replaced at approximately 110,000 miles still smooth * Front brake discs and pads replaced March 2026 * Serviced by myself approximately every 12,000 miles * 133,000 miles Condition: For its age and mileage, the interior is in immaculate condition. The bodywork is reasonable for a 2006 car, although there is the typical rust/rot around both front arches. The car is completely standard with no modifications. Known issues: * Slight coolant leak from the radiator currently requires topping up approximately once every couple of months * Airbag message appears briefly when starting the engine, although there is no airbag warning light remaining on the dashboard * No valid MOT * Will be SORN upon sale * Requires collection by trailer/recovery The car has had welding repairs carried out underneath within the last couple of years. This included welding around the seatbelt mounting/anchor points on one occasion and repairs to the passenger-side front suspension mounting points on another occasion. I'm being completely upfront about the condition and selling it accordingly as spares/repairs/project car. Could be useful as a donor/spares car, project or potentially worth putting through an MOT for someone who wants a cheap runaround. Buyer to arrange collection/transport.
