Clutch and gearbox are both good and it drives as it should. Bought as a spare car and has seen very little use recently, covering only around 300 miles since its last MOT. Recently serviced, tyres are good and the alloy wheels have recently been refurbished. Timing belt was done at around 90,000 miles in 2023, although I can't currently find the invoice for it. Good spec including: Satellite navigation Reversing camera DAB radio vRS sports interior Red brake calipers Towbar mounting system and electrics fitted, but the detachable towball/neck is not included. I want to be completely upfront about the main issue with the car. It smokes under harder acceleration / when you boot it and it is using some engine oil. I haven't had the exact cause diagnosed, so the price reflects this. Apart from that, it starts and drives perfectly and is used normally. Bodywork is presentable for the age and mileage but does have a few scuffs and age-related marks, and there are some marks on the windscreen. Overall a good-looking, practical and quick vRS estate with loads of space and cheap £35 a year road tax. Sensible offers welcome after viewing. No swaps.
