Is there anyone out there who is looking for an original and genuine XJR that has been really well looked after and never messed with? If so come and have a look at this one, it is fabulous. It is been owned by the same family for the last 13 years and kept in a large and airy dry garage for 10 of them. Then the car passed to my son (who is in his mid 40s) who totally loves it but reluctantly has to let it go as not very practical with a young family. It is arguably the best colour combination with British Racing Green paintwork and tan leather interior. It is also I am told by my many friends who have worked at Jaguar, the best model, they had really got it right at this time. The paintwork is just about perfect and the interior almost like new. The wheels have just been stripped to bare metal and powder coated in the original silver. Everything is in good condition, air conditioning is brilliant, has (rare) electric sun roof, headlamp washers all work, all keys work and am trying to think of something that doesn't - oh at last check round the rear curtain / blind would not come up, probably needs freeing. Comfort unsurpassed, like driving in your favourite armchair. Engine and performance are stunning, drives like a dream. It comes with a comprehensive file with all receipts and MOTs. Everything that has needed doing has been done as necessary. I have produced a 'Timeline' which tells you the history of maintenance and ownership. I have also run it through a 'Motor Check' check and have that (which is 34 pages long). There's a lot to read in the file. In the last 3000 miles it has had: Major service (including all 8 plugs replaced); New brake discs and pads all round; All 4 tyres replaced (with Pirellis); Wheels reconditioned.
