Description
A recent flurry of car purchases has left my Velar surplus to requirements and it regrettably has to go.
Originally bought by myself on 20th October 2025 at 56000 miles it has been an excellent family car that's been on countless trips on the continent which makes the majority of the miles it has covered during our ownership.
Prior to my purchasing it, it had the following services:
23/3/18 6mls Pre Delivery Inspection
8/4/19 8978mls 12 month service (Land Rover Hatfield)
20/4/2020 16749mls 24 month service ( LR Hatfield)
16/4/2021 23356mls 36 month service (LR Hatfield)
2/11/2023 45584mls 48month service/64K mls (LR Hatfield)
21//10/2024 49919 80K/60month service (Essex 4x4)
18/9/2025 55283mls Oil and Filter service (Winfield Jaguar/LR Sheffield)
Since buying the car it's had:
16/12/2025 Timing belt, water pump, aux belt
16-18/12/2025 full laser alignment, it drives perfectly straight and true.
20/03/2026 Secondary Rad replaced and renewed coolant
09/04/2026 Oil and filter change after winter season
30/07/2026 74500mls Full service inc oil/fuel/cabin& air filters) aircon re-gas at 74500miles. (my local garage)
05/09/2026 new Turbo pipe after an error code and full health check at LR York.
10/09/2026 MOT - Passed, one minor advisory for front CV boot has a tiny hole)
In addition to this I've fitted all new Brembo discs and pads all round - they were done cheaply in May 2025 but were a bit wooden. Now they are spot on and there is no detectable sign of wear.
Its also had a new battery as the start stop was intermittent when I bought it so the dealer paid for a new one and its coding to the car.
Its also got UK plates, new wipers, so is pretty sorted.
Spec wise it has in addition to the usual HSE stuff:
Ventilated/heated and massage seats
Heated rear seats
Head up display
Panoramic Roof (opening)
360 Surround Cameras
Heated Steering wheel
there is also an activity key I bought but it needs coding to the car.
I also have the full VIN Decode for the car I can email over.
Wheels wise you have a choice of the following:
19inch 5 spoke grey (as fitted) Pirelli all season at 4-5mm
19 inch silver 5 spoke, continental all season 6-7mm
21inch as specced, continental summers 6-7mm
I prefer the 19inch as the tyres are cheaper, it rides better and the all season are needed for our winter driving/holidays but the choice is yours!
Finance clear and always ceramic sprayed when cleaned.
