Used daily (commuting 40 mile round trip) and it has been a reliable car over the 4 years I've owned it and it continues to be. The following has been carried out during my ownership with evidence: Full service carried out June '25 along with front pads and discs. OSF wishbone and track rod, NSF and OSF droplinks, tie rod end and OSF spring replaced June '24, followed by alignment. Oil and filter Sep '24. Rear discs and pads, exhaust replacement and air con repair June '23. Ive also had all 4 tyres replaced within this time, perhaps 2 years ago - I no longer have the receipt but tyres in good condition. Bought with full service 2022 at Mitsubishi specialist. Prior to this, service history is patchy but ABS control unit replacement in 2017, engine replacement in 2015. I get approx, 40mpg on my commute. The paintwork is fair for its age, there's scratches here and there, some areas where the paintwork is flaking slightly. The bits that need sorting: Washer pump has stopped working. I replaced it with a cheap Amazon part which worked and then failed after a few months. Air con needs regassing / potential repair. When I bought it, it was replaced. A year or 2 later a leak was repaired but it stopped working last year. The central locking works, but the Mitsubishi keys have a classic weak point where there key starts to open at the screw. I superglued it shut; which was fine until the battery died. So now I have to use the key in the lock (unlocks the whole car). It was a bad choice. I have a spare key blade. I believe there is a leak where the petrol filler neck meets the petrol tank. When I was filling the car, I noticed a petrol leak underneath the car. I had the filler neck replaced and this stopped the leak. However, now if the petrol is above half full and I turn too quickly / tightly, I can smell petrol when I get out of the vehicle. I believe the mechanic didn't connect the neck to the tank correctly. I have kids - inside could do with a clean/detail and it would come up really nice.
