Selling my 325d which I have owned for almost 11 years since ~140k miles. Only the 2nd owner. Majority motorway miles by the 1st owner. Have a new automatic car and unfortunately do not have the space to store it long term so very reluctantly putting it up for sale. Genuinely believe the car still has a lot of life left in it. The car has been extremely reliable and I have always added Archoil diesel additive every fill up to keep the engine in good working order. It still pulls like a train. Clutch and gearbox feel excellent. HOWEVER, a few months ago (likely due to not much recent use) it developed a very slight hesitation/stutter when accelerating at low speeds and the engine light comes on intermittently. This hesitation was only occasional and went away after about 5 minutes. This was found to be an issue with the EGR valve and there are some other error codes relating to this as well. It is probably a relatively simple fix for someone who has more time and knowledge about cars. I have not noticed this hesitation when driving it recently but the engine light does still come on and off. The bodywork is not in perfect shape as to be expected for a car of this age and mileage. I have tried to take photos to show this as best I can. There is a scrape down the left rear door where a car scraped down the side a few years ago, but it does not effect the closing/structure and the car has never had any bodywork repairs done. Few other blemishes and the alloys are quite badly scuffed. No signs of rust that I am aware of. Few other minor things I noticed, the cigarette lighter does not seem to work and the rear defroster does not seem to be working well either from what I remember last winter. There is a constant bulb out warning for years but all bulbs appear OK. The A/C works nicely last I tried it. Logbook was misplaced many years ago but have partial service history and many invoices of other work done. One key only. Tyre's are in very good condition all round, hardly done any miles on it this year. Have always put top tier brands such as Goodyear/Bridgestone. The battery is also very recently replaced so starts up first time no issues. Have tried to be as detailed as possible. But please text/whats app me for further details or wanting to book a viewing.
