I have very sadly decided to sell my glorious Giulietta. I bought this car last summer and have since done 24,000 miles in the car and have loved every mile. I have spent time and money on the car over this time but have very sadly reached the decision to sell and get something slightly newer (an equally glorious Giulia). I am worried that continuing to pile miles on at the rate I have been will be too much for the poor car. The Giulietta was registered to Meridien Modena in Portsmouth as a demonstrator for the first year, and was then bought by its long term keeper who retained the car until he died last year. I bought the car then intending only to do 10000 miles a year in it. But I have loved it so much that my other car has barely had a look in. The car has been cherished throughout its life with a full service history, including the original purchase invoice and every invoice since then. For the last few years, it has been serviced by an excellent Alfa specialist in Chichester. It was last serviced in August at 152,000 miles. It has had 2 cambelt changes - 2018 and 2023. Since buying it, I have put in a new Pioneer CarPlay stereo, fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres, restored the alloys, fitted a new set of mats and fixed the wiring loom in the boot (a common failure point). It looks stunning when clean and polished - it gets a weekly clean and hoover and really pops when it is clean. It has a couple of areas of lacquer peel (driver sill, bottom corner of front bumper and top of tailgate). Ideally these would be sorted but do not really detract from the overall appearance of the car. New, it was equipped with parking sensors at the rear, privacy glass and the fabulous 18" alloys. I have tried to price it sensibly reflecting the mileage yet balancing against the condition and history of the car. I will take more photos shortly along with photos of the service book.
