Great little MX-5 that drives really well and has had a lot of work carried out recently. Importantly for anyone who knows these cars, the rear inner and outer sill areas have already been repaired/welded. I have included the photos of this. This is one of the main areas to look out for on an MX-5 of this age, so it's a significant job that's already been taken care of. It has also had four new tyres and new brake discs and pads all round. Two intake solenoids (another common fault) have been replaced and the soft top has been thoroughly cleaned, restored and waterproofed. The roof operates as it should. MOT until 7 August 2027. The silver/grey bodywork presents well for a 20-year-old car, with a few age-related marks. There is some variation in colour between some of the panels. It's barely noticeable from some angles but more apparent in certain light, so I've tried to show the car honestly in the photos. I'm not aware of the panels having been repainted during previous ownership. The interior is generally tidy for its age. The driver's seat has an area of wear on the outer bolster which has been repaired, although the repair isn't perfect. This is shown clearly in the photos. It's obviously not an immaculate new car, but it's a good, presentable 20-year-old MX-5 with a long MOT and a considerable amount of recent work already done. I bought it as a small project a couple of months ago, completed the jobs it needed and have enjoyed owning and driving it. I'm now selling it on as the project is finished. Viewings welcome.
