We bought this Special Edition Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro from a neighbour for our son to commute to work, because we knew it had been looked after well, was economical, the four wheel drive can handle all conditions, huge space capability for whatever you might need, and finally the Audi build quality, safety and reliability. He then got a new job within cycling distance, so no longer needs a vehicle ! Car was bought in Feb 2026 with 62k miles and it now has only 67k miles. After we bought it, we immediately fitted new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres (Feb'26) and replaced the battery (Feb'26 still under guarantee), plus changed the gearbox transmission oil (Mar'26). The MMI (multi-media interface) firmware and Sat Nav maps were also updated to the latest versions and the drive belt replaced (Aug'26 - no cam belt on this car its a drive chain). All new wipers fitted and the car paint has been ceramic coated with Gtechniq, including the wheels. We have Bosch garage and service records from our neighbour and can see all brake discs & pads were replaced in Oct/Nov'23 at 49k miles. The next engine oil service is Oct 2027. The MMI system and 10 speaker sound is absolutely amazing. The boot space is massive and can be configured in different ways for pets, luggage or equipment. Performance wise this 240 PS 4-wheel drive quattro is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62mph in 6.8 seconds, but has a low insurance group. On the motorway, we have got around 48 mpg and on average around 40 mpg locally on A and B roads. As this is such a genuine stunning car with such a rare low mileage we will be sticking to the price advertised. However, we'll include roof rack bars and rear boot mat.
