Having searched for over a year for a well kept, double cab, manual, 3-litre D4D Hilux, I finally found "Hank" - My Hilux. I bought "Hank" from Brighton Vehicle Supplies in February (2026), which is a reputable garage, owned by a Toyota enthusiast. The owner of Brighton Vehicle Supplies explained that he had received the vehicle from the original gentleman owner in Norfolk four months prior, and planned on keeping it. However, due to wanting a single cab model and obtaining surplus stock, he decided to sell it on. Fortunately for myself, this meant that I had the opportunity to purchase a one-owner from new, immaculately presented Hilux, with 17 services on record, the first 13 of which were completed at Toyota (including a Cambelt change). Moreover, BVS had just paid for a FULL service, new front drop links, and a NEW CLUTCH, two weeks prior to my purchase. In my ownership, I've fitted four new "Bridgestone Dueler" tyres (worth £640), as the originals were starting to crack (I've kept one of the old ones with plenty of life left in it as a spare), and fitted new coolant hoses. Similarly, it's been regularly cleaned, as I want to preserve the cosmetic and internal condition - both being exceptional. The brakes, engine (bulletproof 3.0 D4D), 4WD system and gearbox all work exactly as it should and it's a pleasure to drive. However, due to a change in circumstance, I sadly can no longer keep "Hank". You will not find a more honest Hilux in this condition.
