Description

1996 Eunos Roadster VR Limited combination B in Excellent Mica Green. Only 800 of these were ever made. They came with all optional extras it was possible to get on a Mk1 (as far as I know) as they were one of the final production models before the Mk2 was released. Japanese import - imported in 2006. I have tried to keep the car as original as possible whilst in my ownership and I have done my best to source and use genuine Mazda parts with no expense spared with any thing the car has needed. All work carried out on the car in my ownership has either been done by myself who is a qualified BMW technician or an MX-5 specialist. Leather seats with green "roadster" stitching JL audio door and headrest speakers "Warbird" style instrument cluster to look like a WW2 fighter plane Modern but classic looking head unit with Bluetooth connection and USB Rota RB wheels - I also have a spare 5th wheel that came with the car when I bought it 4 matching dunlop tyres including the 5th wheel. At some point the car has had a replacement soft top and it has been mounted to the Mk2 frame (which is better) and also upgraded rear window from plastic to heated glass. The body/paint work done includes a brand new genuine Mazda front bumper, lower lip splitter from Bofi racing, Eunos badge, side lights with new wiring looms, rear number plate panel, boot lid and rear deck restoration. Mechanical work - full service, oil and filter, HKS air filter, spark plugs and new wiper blades, timing belt and tensioner, water pump, front crank shaft pulley and seal, camshaft seals and rocker cover gasket. Replacement genuine Mazda Panasonic Gel battery. I was told the rear lower sills where all MX5's seem to rust have been done before I bought the car and there is evidence to suggest this is true. It still has the original space saver spare wheel and tools with jack and wheel brace in the boot. The car is mostly original and well maintained which I believe makes it one of the best examples around. Eunos roadsters are becoming increasingly difficult to find like this. I am very reluctantly selling it due to lack of time to fully enjoy it. The car is overall in great condition considering it is 30 years old but does have age related marks and some minor scratches here and there including imperfections/blemishes on the soft top but it is to be expected. I am open to sensible offers that reflect the cars overall condition to someone who'll value and cherish the car like I have.
