Back on original reg KV51 AZA. Its time to part with my pride and joy having owned for nearly 6 years and spent thousands on an underbody restoration in 2021/2022. I have a few cars and don't get to drive this as much as it deserves to be. Originally (and still registered as) a 160+ 2.5 V6, it has been fully converted to a 190 spec during the resto and fitted with inlet/exhaust camshafts, sport throttle body, airbox, exhaust, bigger front brakes and gearbox from a 190 model and mapped by Force Tuning to bring it all together. As a 2001 ZT and for those 'in the know' this is a pre project drive car so has all the bits fitted that the later cars were missing and generally better built. Runs and drives like an absolute peach and doesn't burn a drop of oil or coolant. No smoke, no knocks, bangs-absolutely solid car. No expense spared and many thousands of pounds have been spent to refresh the complete undercarriage with the following work completed... Everything underneath the car was removed (Exhaust, both subframes, all suspension, wheel arch liners etc) Any surface rust was treated with Bilt Hamber rust converter, primered and painted black. Work carried out/new parts fitted on rebuild: -Front & Rear subframes powder coated -Front & Rear anti-roll bars powder coated -Every single suspension arm, droplink,nut, bolt and bush under the car has been replaced -Sachs clutch kit with LUK DMF and upgraded clutch master and slave cylinders from DMGRS -Front & rear MTEC brake discs and pads, disc back plates and handbrake shoes -Driveshafts rebuilt with new CV joints and gaitors -Calipers rebuilt with new pistons seals and painted -Gear linkage cables and handbrake cables -Upgraded handbrake compensator from the mini -Brake lines -All dampers and fitted with x-power springs -Front hubs -All wheel bearings -4 wheel alignment -Stainless Powerflow cat back exhaust to make the V6 sing! -Headlining and door cards re-trimmed -DAB radio with Bluetooth, Spotify, Car play and Android auto Engine work: -Full 190 conversion and remap -Thermostat and associated pipes replaced -New spark plugs and genuine coil packs -All fluids and oils refreshed (Brake, clutch, coolant, gearbox) -Upgraded VIS motors -Lambda sensors Probably missed loads as it has had that much spent.
