I am reluctantly selling our 2005 MB Extra Long Viano Ambiente which I have owned for 7 years. It has given us sterling service throughout that time, and I have maintained it carefully always using genuine or OEM parts. I bought it with an engine noise which I thought was a worn bearing pulley, but I was wrong. Instead, it required, and had, an extensive engine overhaul by a local MB specialist and has run faultlessly ever since. It has also had several replacement parts, including, rear shock absorbers, a rear air suspension bellows, a front spring, alternator, air conditioning evaporator, speedo instrument cluster, battery, rear wiper motor and arm. It has had regular annual servicing and engine oil and filter changes regardless of mileage. It has had the gearbox and differential oils changed as well. The vehicle has had substantial high-quality welding to the chassis which has drawn no comment from the subsequent MOT testers. All of this has been done during my ownership and within the last 15,000 miles and is documented and evidenced with supporting invoices. The latest MOT has no advisories and is valid until 21 August 2027. The vehicle has 8 adult seats, I have arranged the rear 6 in 'conference' style which our family has enjoyed, but this can easily be changed to all forward facing. It is comfortable and has always done everything asked of it without fuss or bother, swallowing 6 or 8 adults, 2 dogs and airport volume luggage on many occasions. All the rear seats fold in 2 stages and are removable. On occasion I have removed all 6 rear seats and used the car as a capacious van. Condition is subjective at 22 years, but I would say it is in generally very good condition for its age. There are some marks on the exterior, the most notable being a small dent on the offside rear door, some scratches on the near side front corner, and the bonnet has lost its shine. There are some marks to the interior, and the driver's seat shows normal wear. I have tried to show these in the photos. As far as I am aware, there is no significant rust, and everything works as it should. ULEZ compliant.
