B7 Audi RS4 4.2 FSI V8 quattro - 6 speed manual It's a proper B7 RS4 - 420PS naturally aspirated 4.2 FSI V8, 6-speed manual, quattro, rare buckets and the huge 8-pot Brembos derived from the Lamborghini Gallardo to match the steering wheel...just so cool. I bought the car earlier in the year as a non-runner/spares-or-repairs project after getting what I thought to be a good deal. EXTENSIVE FSH (70% main dealer 30% specialist), HPI Clear, all the spec, made it easier for me to justify the purchase. When I went to view it - the car started with a lumpy misfire and bogged/hesitated under load so wouldnt move under its own power faster than about 5mph. Since buying it I've put a lot of time and money into getting it properly mechanically recommissioned. The main work carried out: - Fuel rails removed, inspected and refitted - Injectors professionally refurbished/reconditioned by Bosch - Inlet manifold removed, cleaned and inspected - Swirl flap delete - Engine-bay pipework correctly rerouted/plumbed - CARBON CLEAN carried out around 250 miles ago - invoice + pictures -2 x new high-pressure fuel pumps fitted New CV boots fitted General inspection, diagnosis and recommissioning of various components Specialists carried out the work where necessary and appropriate and I have done a good portion of it myself and enjoyed every moment of it. Reason for sale is that id love to do it again with another big V8 but maybe a coupe next before I have kids to work around... my Mrs loves it and is already campaigning for a B7 wagon down the line. It's now running and driving extremely well and will continue to be enjoyed here and there until it's sold - as intended. I'm being completely honest about the cosmetics. I've concentrated my money on making the car mechanically right rather than making it look perfect. There are some stone chips, the gunmetal grey Plasti Dip around the window surrounds/mirror caps is starting to chip in places and the driver's seat has 2 small damages. I've been quoted £400 to have the seat done. I reckon andother £1000 is all this car needs on the bodywork to get her car back to looking her best. I'm currently quite firm on price... I'm happy to sit on a sub 100k mile FSH B7 RS4 with all the spec and enjoy the car. It really is even more awesome than I expected it to be when I bought it, but I'd rather have a big V8 coupe while I definitely can. P/x considered - V8 Coupe , Vantage, M3, W204, RS5
