Rare BMW E60 545i V8 Manual - 333HP. A proper old-school BMW with the naturally aspirated 4.4 V8 and rare manual gearbox. The car has covered around 160k miles and has had a lot of maintenance carried out during my ownership. As far as I'm aware, there are only around 2-3 E60 545i manuals still on the road in the UK, making this a very rare specification. Recent work includes alternator, water pump, thermostat, belts/pulleys, battery, negative battery cable and IBS sensor, spark plugs, steering rack, rear suspension arms/bushes, subframe bush and regular servicing. The car starts, drives and pulls very well. The V8 sounds fantastic and the manual gearbox makes it a completely different experience compared with the more common automatic 545i. Upgraded headlights with Bi-Xenon and active AFS/adaptive lighting. Finished in grey with gloss black details and 19" concave wheels. It has a strong road presence and is a great base for someone wanting a rare V8 BMW to enjoy or continue improving. Known faults, reflected in the price: - Occasionally the starter motor does not crank first time and may need 5-6 attempts before starting. - Minor oil leaks/sweating present, nothing I would describe as major. - Airbag and seatbelt warning lights are currently showing on the dashboard. I prefer to be completely upfront so there are no surprises for the buyer. This is a 2004 car with around 160k miles, so please don't expect a brand-new vehicle. It has age-related marks and imperfections, but it is an increasingly rare specification and has had plenty of money and maintenance put into it. Genuine reason for sale.
