Audi TT - Project Car / Spares A great project car for someone who knows their way around a TT, or alternatively ideal for someone looking for a car for spares. Open to sensible offers/negotiation on the price. MOT Defects / Advisories from Last Year * Battery was insecure, although it was not considered likely to fall from the carrier. * Offside front track rod end ball joint dust cover was damaged/deteriorated. * Nearside rear brake pipe was corroded and/or covered in grease or other material. * Offside rear brake pipe was corroded and/or covered in grease or other material. * Both rear tyres had sidewall damage (cuts), although the damage had not reached the cords. Current Known Issues Oil leak: Appears to be coming from the crankshaft oil seal on the gearbox side rather than the sump. The gearbox will likely need to be removed to carry out the repair. Power steering: There is a whining noise which appears to be coming from the power steering system. The fluid level is low and the fluid is heavily contaminated. I have paperwork/receipts for the money I have spent on the car, including a refurbished turbo. It comes with all the original books/paperwork, and I'll also include the old turbo, as the mechanic who replaced it said there was apparently nothing wrong with it. I'm being completely upfront about the condition and known issues, so please make sure you're happy with the above before buying. Needs to be collected by Saturday.
