Citron DS3 - Spares or Repair / Ideal Project Car Well looked-after and economical Citron DS3 which has been a great and reliable car. It was driving very well with no major issues until recently, when it developed an engine misfire. The car has been checked by a mechanic and diagnosed with a misfire/cylinder-related engine issue. I was advised that the engine requires further repair. The car is still running and driveable; however, after the engine is switched off, the cooling fan/pump continues to run for a short while, which appears to be related to the current engine fault. As I'm not mechanically minded and need a reliable car for everyday work, I've decided to buy another vehicle rather than invest in repairing this one. A number of maintenance items have been done recently, which may also make the car particularly worthwhile for someone looking to repair it or use it for parts: Exhaust system replaced only a few months ago Rear brake pads recently replaced Oil changed Serviced in May MOT carried out in May The car itself has been well looked after and was running very well before the engine issue occurred. It could be a great opportunity for a mechanic or someone able to carry out the repair themselves. Alternatively, it may be of good value for spares/parts, particularly considering the recently replaced components. Sold as spares or repair due to the engine fault. Priced accordingly.
