Description
Selling my 2013 Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 8V, currently showing 123,750 miles. Miles will continue to go up as it's still being driven until sold or ONO. It's been priced to sell. Autotrader valued it at £1,170
The good points:
-Starts first time and drives well.
-Engine runs smoothly with no noticeable performance issues.
-Manual gearbox works as it should.
-Very economical, regularly averaging around 49 MPG.
-Recently fitted with a brand-new battery costing £100.
Known faults - please read:
-Engine management light (EML) illuminated due to a P1305 neutral signal learning fault associated with the Start/Stop system. The Start/Stop function does not work, but the car otherwise drives normally.
-Blue&Me system not working, including the associated USB functionality.
-Some steering-wheel controls are inoperative.
General age-related cosmetic wear, as expected for a 2013 vehicle with this mileage.
I've investigated some of these issues myself, but rather than continue replacing parts ,I've decided to sell the car in its current condition.
MOT valid until 9 November 2026.
Despite the faults, this has been a dependable and economical daily runabout for me. It could suit someone looking for an inexpensive car or an Alfa/Fiat enthusiast who enjoys working on cars.
Priced accordingly to reflect the known faults, mileage and remaining MOT. I'm being completely transparent about its condition and happy to answer any questions.
